1. Who is responsible?
BRAZENHALO AG is responsible for the processing described here. Contact us at the address above with questions or requests about personal data.
2. What data do we collect?
When you contact us: We receive the information you enter in a form or send by email, such as your name, work email address, organization, website, inquiry type, message, and any subsequent correspondence.
When you use the Site: Our hosting and security systems may process your IP address, device and browser details, the requested page, referral information, and the date and time of access. We may use storage needed to remember your cookie choice or protect and operate the Site; see our Cookie Policy.
If you allow analytics: Google Analytics collects information about visits and interactions, including pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser information, referral information, and online identifiers stored in analytics cookies. Google Analytics receives this data only after you choose to allow optional analytics. We do not send the contents of contact-form messages to Google Analytics.
From other sources: If we continue a business discussion, we may review information you provide or make publicly available about your company. More detailed diligence processes are outside the scope of this website notice and should receive an appropriate supplemental notice where needed.
3. Why do we process it?
We process website data to deliver pages, maintain security, diagnose problems, and prevent misuse. We process inquiry data to assess and respond to your request and keep a record of our correspondence. Where permitted, we may retain relevant communications to manage our business and protect legal interests. We do not use an initial inquiry as consent to send unrelated marketing. With your permission, we use Google Analytics to understand which pages are visited and how the Site is used so we can improve it.
Where the EU/EEA or UK GDPR applies, the relevant legal grounds may include our legitimate interests in operating a secure website and handling business inquiries, steps requested before entering an agreement, compliance with legal obligations, and your consent for optional analytics. Swiss processing is governed principally by the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection. You can change or withdraw your analytics choice at any time through Cookie settings; this does not affect processing carried out before withdrawal.
4. Who receives the data?
Authorized BrazenHalo personnel and service providers who host, secure, maintain, or deliver the Site and communications may access data as needed for their roles. We use Vercel to host and deliver the Site, Google Analytics to measure use when you allow optional analytics, and Resend to transmit inquiries submitted through the Let’s Build form to our mailbox. We may disclose information where required by law, to protect rights, or in connection with a properly managed transaction. We do not publish inquiries or sell personal data through the Site.
For details about the providers' own practices, see Vercel's Privacy Notice, Resend's Privacy Policy, and Google's explanation of data from sites using its services.
5. International transfers
Vercel, Google, Resend, and other service providers may process or access data outside Switzerland, including in the United States. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for transfers to countries without an adequate level of data protection, such as contractual protections recognized under applicable law. Processing locations and safeguards depend on the services and configurations actually used.
6. How long do we keep it?
We generally keep initial inquiries and related correspondence for up to 24 months after the last substantive exchange if no ongoing relationship develops. We may keep relevant records longer where an active relationship, legal obligation, dispute, or legitimate need to establish or defend a claim requires it.
We configure Google Analytics to retain user-level and event-level data for two months. Aggregated reports may remain available longer. Analytics cookies may remain on your device for up to two years after they are set or refreshed, unless you withdraw consent, delete them, or your browser removes them sooner. Website and security logs are kept for limited operational periods under the hosting configuration; any logs that we export for our own use should normally be deleted within 30 days, unless a security incident or legal need justifies longer retention. When data is no longer needed, we delete or anonymize it where reasonably possible.
8. Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures appropriate to the data and the service. No internet transmission or system can be guaranteed completely secure. Please use an agreed secure channel for confidential materials.
9. Your rights
Subject to applicable law, you may request information about the personal data we hold about you, ask for inaccurate data to be corrected, request deletion or restriction, object to certain processing, or request transfer of data where applicable. You can also withdraw consent for processing based on consent without affecting prior lawful processing. We may ask for information to verify your identity before responding. You may contact the Swiss Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner or another competent authority if you have concerns.
Send requests to contact@brazenhalo.com.
